The new model has inherited the COLLINS AEROSPACE PRO LINE 21 avionics suite, which includes dual multifunction displays, a flight control system with GPS navigation, an integrated alert system, embedded checklists, improved attitude and heading capabilities, the XM Broadcast weather graphic system, MultiScan weather radar, the Mark VIII TCAS II ground approach warning system, and an additional avionics package.

The model is equipped with a modified ramp with a lower step to the ground for easier entry, a new handrail, a spacious cabin and Cool View skylights,

a completely new design element that is new to the Citation line.
